BTC candle definitions

The Binance BTC/USDT candle series (5 minute, 1 hour, and 1 day) carry the same kind of written definition as other metrics: what a candle row means, that prices are quoted in USDT rather than USD, how open_time and close_time are defined, and that Newhedge never rewrites a stored candle.
Methodology
Add include=definition to a candles request to receive the definition for the interval you asked for, or read it on the candles documentation page. Methodology version 2026-09-06.
